I am passionate about the cultivation and enhancement of personal well-being, mindful self-compassion, emotional and social intelligence, emotion regulation and full creative expression.
After working as a psychotherapist with individuals, couples and families for over twenty-five years I am shifting my focus to positive psychology, coaching and writing.
I help people, midlife and beyond, add new meaning and well-being to their lives. I help people overcome obstacles to their happiness and to design small changes towards creating their most satisfying and fulfilling lives. I help people use their strengths towards pursuing their deepest aspirations.
If you have an interest in writing about your experiences, I also offer my services as a life-story writing coach. I will help you uncover the stories you most want to tell; to help get you rolling with the actual writing; to help you decide how public or private you want to be with your writing; to share what I know about the writing process and the written artifact; and to point you towards other resources as needed.
